A woman encounters assorted suitors/suspicious characters while on the run from killers.

The happenings of one night. A young heiress, on the run from her murderous uncle, roams the streets of Bombay where she runs into a series of shady characters. To escape from them, she makes a rendezvous with all of them to meet her early next morning at the Gateway of India, which also happens to be the locale for some covert criminal activity involving her uncle, the idea being to nab the crooks red-handed.—Hrishi Dixit <[email protected]>

Lonavla-based Anju overhears a conversation between her uncle and two men, and warns her servant, Ramu, that they are going to kill him. Before Ramu could take any action, he is killed, and two persons responsible for this, blame it on Anju and notify the police that she is armed and at large. She finds out that they plan to dump Ramu's body in the sea waters near Bombay's Gateway of India. Anju flees, hitches a ride from a male, Kishore, driving a convertible, who also runs a club. After being with him for a few hours, she finds out that the club is a front for drugs, and he has a girlfriend who he abuses. While also fleeing from him as well as continuing to elude the two killers she comes across a spiritualist, Johnny Walker - who wants her for himself; a wealthy male who has amassed a fortune from the murder of his seven wives, and who now wants her to be his eighth; as well as becomes entrapped with a gun-toting male, Chandan, whose sister runs a dancing school - which is actually a front for a brothel.
