Set against a beautifully nuanced backdrop of Indian culture, it narrates the slice-of-life stories of a quintessential Indian family and their adventures with their Gadget Guru Ganesha. The show features Guru, a seven-year-old intelligent boy and his soft toy Ganesha with innovative gadgets. With Ganesha's help, Guru and his friends go through some mind-boggling experiences while dealing with day to day issues along the way. The show has two elements that kids love- Gadgets and Lord Ganesh - someone whose idol is present in nearly every Indian home and every kid wants to be friends with - which makes this quite relatable yet fantasy led show intending to spark imagination and celebrate bonds of goodness and friendship. Ganesha lives with Guru and his friends are orphans and lives at India House along with Dadaji and Dadiji. The kids at India House belongs with different parts of India and hence own different cultures. They also have a big robotic mouse "Mooshak" who also gives ride to Guru and Ganesha. Ganesh is very funny. He dances and plays with orphanage kids. Normally he avoids physical labor and always has some witty excuse. But when his friends are in trouble, he becomes hyperactive. He hates fighting and always prefers to solve a problem using brains. Sometimes Guru fantasies to make some weird gadget hich will solve his silly current problem but fails and requests Ganesh to provide him the same. Ganesh obliges him but these type of gadgets mostly create bigger problems for Guru. Sometimes Ganesh secretly completes the gadget that Guru is making just to encourage him.
