28-year-old Gösta has moved from Stockholm to Småland to take up his first job as a child and youth psychologist. He enjoys the unexciting provincial life, enthusiastically rides his bike to work and loves the simplicity of his rustic log cabin. There he accommodates the asylum seeker Hussein, whom he cares for in addition to his work. Gösta wants to bring more humanity into all facets of his everyday life by being helpful.
