Ram goes crazy after death of his mother and sister, once released from mental hospital comes across Mr Kirorimal who insures him and wants him dead for the money. However Ram ends up marrying his daughter.
This offbeat 1956 classic from director Chetan Anand stars Dev Anand as Funtoosh, a mentally unstable man just out of an asylum. He's bent on committing suicide when a wealthy man saves his life and takes him in--but he only does so in order to take out a large insurance policy on his life. Sheila Ramani, K. N. Singh, Hammad, and Bhagwan Sinha turn in pitch-perfect supporting performances in this dark comedy, which is known for its excellent musical numbers.
