Majime, an eccentric but gifted man, is employed in a publishing company to compile a Japanese dictionary.
Midori Kishibe (Elaiza Ikeda) is a 25-year-old woman and works in the editorial department of a fashion magazine that belongs to a large publishing company. But, the fashion magazine gets cancelled by its parent company. Midori Kishibe then gets transferred to the editing department for a dictionary. What awaits for Midori Kishibe there are people filled with personality, including the head of the editorial department Mitsuya Majime (Yojiro Noda). Initially, Midori Kishibe has a hard time in her new workplace. As time goes by, she becomes inspired by the persistence and enthusiasm for those that work around her.
