A hosted children's show with Mary Ellen screening on WSPD Channel 13 in Toledo, Ohio from 1952-1954, with the show continuing with a new host until 1960.

The show had children on the show, and a mounted policeman came in from time to time and sing. The children always enjoyed that horse in the studio. Mary Ellen worked string puppets - a boy and a girl; with Mary playing a record and the puppets would sing to it. Dick Beach hosted a few shows in 1960 as "Salty, the Clown" while Mary Ellen as on leave.—Paul Gerard Kennedy
