Synopsis

Dev (Mohit Marwah), Devi (Kiara Advani), Gaurav (Vijender Singh) and Aditya (Arfi Lamba) are close friends who live in Delhi. The 4 have been together since childhood and are inseparable.

Dev wants to start an adventure sports camp as a full-time business in Ladakh. Devi has feelings for Dev.Gaurav is the son of CM of Haryana, while the rest of his friends are commoners. Cheeni (Anshuman Jha) is a pimp at all parties of Delhi and has the hots for Devi.Gaurav is isolated from the politics his family is into and is the only educated person in his family. Gaurav wants to become the boxing world champion.Gaurav has a nice heart, but always high on adrenaline because of his influential father. He has a knack of getting into trouble with police because of this attitude, but the police always ignore his pranks.

A local grocer or Nunu has an evil eye on Devi and one fine day gropes her in his shop. Devi supplies edible items to the shop that she produces with the help of her mother. When Nunu gropes Devi, he was alone in the shop, and when Devi slaps him, he alleges that Devi is of loose morals, and she was propositioning Nunu to go inside the office for a sexual encounter. Since Devi wears modern clothes, people assume she is at fault.Devi's father was killed saving people from terrorists, but she now believes that the country is unsafe for women.

The four of them decide to teach Nunu a lesson. At night they break into his shop and trash him warning him not to see her again. Although outnumbered and in bad state Nunu challenges them to leave Devi behind for him.Dev is very angry and decides to teach him a lesson. They put him in their car's trunk and drive him to an isolated location.

They are intercepted by Inspector R.S. Chautala (Jimmy Shergill) who is patrolling the highway. Gaurav as usual tries to act smart and gets involved in a scuffle with Chautala. Devi asks Gaurav to get in the car as she wants to drive away as soon as possible. But Chautala pulls out his gun and threatens to shoot. Chautala is heavily drunk and now enraged.

Chautala suspects foul play and hears noise coming from the trunk of the car. When Chautala checks the car, he discovers Nunu inside the trunk. Chautala kills Nunu with the car jack (making sure that he does not put his own fingerprints on the murder weapon), in order to frame them in his murder case.In the morning Chautala threatens to kill the 4 friends at an abandoned brick kiln.

Chautala puts up a demand of Rs 61 Lakhs of bribe money, which they have to arrange in 24 hours. Gaurav is afraid to tell his father about the incident because he was actually involved in kidnapping of Nunu, since this would cost his father his CM chair. Gaurav tells his elder brother that he needs money for a business and takes Rs 61 Lakhs from the safe. But as luck would have it, there is an Income Tax raid at the house, and Gaurav is not able to take the money out.

Gaurav hides in the cow stables and disguises himself as a cowherd. He manages to put some money inside cow dung and brings it out of the house. This way the gang is able to put together Rs 24 Lakhs.

Chautala further blackmails them by recording them handing over the money to him, as evidence of attempting to bribe a policeman. He gives them 3 more days to arrange for the money with additional Rs. 10 Lakhs as penalty. The four of them are further forced to arrange a rave party with a drug dealer, which is again raided by Chautala. He forces them into drug dealing as well to extract more juice out of them. The four of them decide that they had enough and want to expose Chautala in a sting operation. They almost succeed in extracting confession out of him on camera but are busted and Chautala also kidnaps Devi. Chautala outsmarts them on every step and four of slip deep into trouble with every step they try.

Chautala asks Dev & Gaurav to carry out a political assassination, to secure Devi's release. Aditya tries to find Devi's location & figures that Chautala is hosting a party at a farmhouse. Dev & Gaurav enter the farmhouse, only find that the party has been hosted for his own father's MLAs. Dev & Gaurav manage to rescue Devi before she is sexually assaulted, but Chautala confronts them & gets Gaurav to shoot him in the arm. Finally, all 4 are arrested on false charges and released on bail.Chautala meets Gaurav's father & elder brother & convinces them to stop backing Gaurav, so that they could secure their political future. Gaurav's father publicly denounces Gaurav & supports the court cases against him & his friends. He even praises Chautala as a brave police officer, who put his life on the line to stop a rave party.

5 years go by, but still the 4 friends don't get any justice.Dev in the end decides that he has to sacrifice his life to expose truth. He immolates himself at India gate & is admitted to the hospital. Dev in hospital, narrates his story to a reporter on camera and his narration is interrupted by Chautala once again. He clears up the ICU room of everyone to have a private moment with Dev. Dev tricks him by cutting off his own life support and getting into a scuffle with Chautala. As the medics and reporters rush into the room, they find Dev dead and it appears as if Chautala has killed him. This is telecast live on the news.

Public sentiments turn against Chautala & he is soon arrested. 1 year later, Chautala meets Gaurav's father in an isolated region. Chautala true to his color again attempting to blackmail the CM and he shot dead by his colleague.
