In a high-rise apartment building in downtown New York City lives young Peter Hatcher and his family, which includes sensible Ann, goofball Warren, and worst of all, troublemaker Fudge. Their friend is goofy elevator operator Henry Bevelheim. At Peter's school, he hangs out with his best friend, Jimmy Fargo, and his arch nemesis, Sheila Tubman, who's obsessed with teasing, bullying, being the boss, and cooties.
