It seems many members of our human family still regard Alaska as a chosen destination, one to be visited before all others. And perhaps, somewhat related to the same inscrutable system of values, Kansas is deemed the least-chosen destination to be visited before the end of time... at least in my experience. I have lived in both places and feel somewhat qualified to address the mystery contained within those disparate values. Having sailed the Inside Passage for over 5,000 miles, and now, having lived in tall grass country for over ten years, my footage speaks to the issues, and my narratives inform at least my observations.
