"Fright Night" was a hosted horror movie show with Charles Kissinger as "The Fearmonger" presenting movies on Fright nights and Saturday nights as a double-feature, starting at 7:00pm on WDRB-TV Channel 41 Louisville, Kentucky from 6 March 1971 until 6 September 1976. From the William Girdler web site: "Fright Night was unique--there would be no set. Instead, a dimly up-lit, slightly solarized face would slowly materialize out of the darkness to introduce the movies and then fade mysteriously away again into the night. And the man to personify the newly-christened Fearmonger would be local actor and long-time TV and radio commercial performer Charles Kissinger".—The Professor
