Synopsis

It is a story that will touch your heart. Jim Crawford (Michael Flynn) is lost in the depths of his own isolation and suffering with the recent loss of his beloved wife. Reaching the point of complete hopelessness, he is suddenly guided by an angel (Jimmy Chunga) to the den of a great gray wolf that has been killed, leaving behind four cubs struggling to stay alive. Unprepared for the task, but unwilling to see them suffer, he takes them into his care and keeping. The result is a disaster for his kitchen, but a relief for his own misery.

As the wolf cubs grow, so does Jims love for them, but all too soon he must make an excruciating decision. With the wolves healthy and strong, he realizes he must turn them back into the wild. He does so, hoping theyll remember him fearing they wont. Reluctantly, he says goodbye once again.

Later on, an unscrupulous developer (David Nibley) puts the four wolves in danger, and Jim goes into the forest hoping to protect them. Instead, he is attacked by an angry grizzly bear. The sound of the attack attracts Jims wolves, and they race to his rescue, driving the bear away, and proving they will always be willing to repay him for his love and kindness.

Friends for Life is a heartwarming story of love and despair, of losing everything and gaining a renewed vision of self-worth, of receiving help through the joy of helping others, and discovering the true meaning of life itself.
