An adaptation of the long-running British comic strip Fred Basset (1963-) by Alex Graham. The main character is a male basset hound who hangs out with other dogs, romances Fifi the poodle, and tries to hide from more aggressive dogs. Fred's owners are a middle-aged couple with no children. The husband is an office worker who spends his free time socializing in either of two local pubs. The wife is either managing the household or socializing with her own friends.—Dimos I
