An anthology of urban legends (3 per episode), each presented with a different narrator and animation style. All stories begin and end with the line, "This is a true story happened to a friend of a friend of mine... ".

"Freaky Stories" was an anthology series of shorts, each done in a different graphic style of animation. The common element to each story is the opening line, "This is a true story. It happened to a friend of a friend of mine..." At its best, the show strives to be "Twilight Zone" for children- probing the human condition, while at its worst, it degenerates to fart and dog poop jokes.—Steve Schnier <[email protected]>
