Summaries

Four Square is a documentary short that looks at four different square miles around the country. Each square mile is a microcosm of life in contemporary America. A square mile in Fort Worth, Texas is an example of the struggles facing many African American communities. A square mile in northern Kansas is representative of the exodus of the central plains region. A square mile in lower Manhattan is a melting pot of cultures, and a square mile in the rural south is a microcosm of community that is both isolated and insulated. Together the square miles represent a patchwork of American communities.—Anonymous
