In one troubled corner of the Gaza Strip, where the landscape can alter from day to day at the mercy of the ongoing siege, one thing remains unchanged. Children here still make and fly kites, just as their parents and grandparents did before them. But it is more than just a pastime. It is an act of defiance and an expression of hope.
