Summaries

A lumber camp melodrama: a corrupt lumber mill owner is pitted against a dashing, heroic foreman (Larkin) and a stunning, helpless heroine.

Grant Whitney, manager of a lumber camp, discovers a plot to delay a shipment of logs, perpetrated by foreman Lew Harkness, who is in league with a rival company. After Lew is fired, he causes trouble for Grant, who is in love with a young woman named Jimmie, by turning her father, Brute Turner, against him. Although Brute is convinced that Grant is trifling with Jimmie's affections, the younger man proves his sincerity when he rescues both from a forest fire.—AFI
