"Five Star Shock" was a hosted horror movie show with Joe Alston as "The Host" presenting movies on KENS-TV, Channel 5 San Antonio, Texas - Friday nights during 1960. The show transitioned from "Shock Theater" that ran from 1959-1960, and would transition again in 1960 to "Project Terror". In "Shock Theater", "The Host" was supported by Bob Burns and Kathy Burns who appeared in a wide variety of monstrous characterizations, including Bob as Mad Lab Assistants, Mad Doctors, Victims, Village Idiot, Frankenstein Monster, Wolf Man, and The Mad Mummy; with Kathy as The Bride of Frankenstein, The Weird Woman, Hideous Hags, Witches and Miss Shock.—The Professor
