1944, 6th of June .To young Michel Legrand (later ,a famous composer) and his mom, Marcelle, it's a medal the boy has won in the Paris Conservatoire which makes their day.Afterward,they have to get back to Saint-Lo but the roads are cut off.They meet exuberant Yvette, 30, who helps them steal bikes and leaves with them for the coast.The three travelers have neither money nor pass, but Yvette's cheerful boldness allows them to get over the obstacles.Michel has his first taste of love with the young woman, but after their adventure, she disappears without trace.—dbdumonteil
