Summaries

The Fit4Life TV show made its debut January 2016, with Season 2 airing January 2017. Each season a call is put out for those who are considered obese by medical height and weight standards, who would like to audition to be a contestant on the show. Contestants are encouraged to build character traits of strength, courage, discipline, confidence, motivation, kindness, compassion, perseverance, honor, and positive thinking, as well as inspiring others to change unhealthy habits to a healthy lifestyle. In Season One, five contestants lost a combined total of 639 pounds. The show worked with the Second Harvest Food Bank and donated 1,660 pounds of food to feed the hungry. In Season Two contestants worked with Jurnee's Journey to help save animal lives and fight to end unnecessary shelter euthanasia.—fit4life
