The US Army built Fire Control Tower 23 as part of a defense complex protecting the Delaware Bay called Fort Miles. This documentary explores the historical context of the Fort and details the construction of Tower 23 and how it interacted with other towers and bunkers in New Jersey and Delaware to control shore batteries in the event of an attack.
