Following riots in Gujarat, Arati experiences guilt that she didn't open her door to shelter an injured Muslim woman; her husband Sanjay had looted merchandise from shops and his brother Devan had even sexually molested Muslim women. Young lad Mohsin leaves the safety of an army-guarded camp to look for his father. Music maestro Jahangir Khan faces isolation. Sameer Shaikh and his Hindu wife Anuradha decide to relocate to Delhi. Trucks are coming loaded with dead bodies to the Muslim cemetery during the Gujarat riots in 2002. The story takes place over one day after a month since the riots where many people's lives are changed. Elderly classic Muslim vocalist Khan Sahab is aware of the consequences his comity is facing but hopes that God will do all well. Aarti lives with her abusive husband Sanjay and feels guilty of not saving a Muslim women during the riots, while Sanjay tries to protect his brother Devan from a gang rape. Hanif and Muneera return home after a month to find their house completely burnt and try to mend things, but Muneera suspects her friend Jyoti did it. Sameer and his wife Anuradha plan to to shift to Delhi after their store is burnt during the riots; Sameer fears to accept his identity for being a Muslim.[email protected]
