When an old friend's return home is disrupted by his sudden disappearance, what starts as a welcome home film becomes an unsettling search.

After graduating high school, Randy Freeman moved states away, leaving all of his family and friends behind. Seven years later, he returns home without warning, prompting a few old friends to put together a welcome home video for him. Intended as a grand finale, these friends - Trevor, Daniel, Pat, and Rebecca - invite Randy to dig up a time capsule they buried in the woods when they were twelve. But just as soon as he's back, Randy disappears, prompting a search with twists and turns that leaves all parties involved scratching their heads.
