When computer genius Kate Keenan disappears after designing a game-changing A.I. program for Hawaiiwood Studios, two secret agents are sent to contain the threat her missing creation poses to national security.

Kate Keenan is confident in all aspects of life, except for her work as a Production Assistant at Hawaiiwood Studios. As her days are spent fetching coffee for her fiancé Lev, who is directing the studio's new film Static, her nights consist of developing a new A.I. software, to revolutionize the production process. After a successful attempt, she brings the results to her boss Primo, who throws a celebration in her honor. Suddenly, Primo has an allergic reaction...that he cannot recover from. At his funeral, Kate and Lev are approached by Jillie Suede, Primo's successor at Hawaiiwood Studios. She urges Kate to hand over her software-but Kate refuses. Suspicious of Jillie's intentions, Kate hides pieces of the program across the island. However, on her way home, she is abducted by two mercenaries, Villand and Nogood, who demand to know the location of her new creation. Now, her father, Jonathan, must team up with Lev and Mel (Kate's roommate) to find her before it's too late. Unbeknownst to them, two secret agents were dispatched to track down the missing program and contain its threat to national security.
