In order to preserve her sick and destitute father, Anna works as a singer at a center. A lawyer, Stavros, is the only one who stands by her. Anna knows Alexis, a sailor and falls in love with him. Stavros suggests that she marry but she dies for the sake of Alexis. Fate reveals that Alexis is the son of Stavros and finally love is justified.—Tony Montana
