The film documents the making of the 1st annual Mississippi International Film Festival from start to finish and how it was accomplished. It explores the 'who, why, and how' the multicultural event was created.

The film covers it all: preproduction, planning, logistics, meetings, permits, sponsors, film screening process, all the way to the actual 3 festival days, in real time, with footage clips from all the award winning films (and many more), musical bands, street fair, fashion show, talent show, acting and filmmaking workshops, cultural performances, guest producers, directors, actors, crafts, vending, artwork, charitable efforts and the like; all wrapped up in one concise visually documented collage.—Anonymous
