Three days before Halloween, 12-year-old Felix is on a field trip to the National Museum with his sixth-grade class, when he and classmate Siff end up in the museum's basement. There they find a secret room filled with all sorts of things from the mythical creatures once believed in Denmark. When Felix returns home, he discovers that a mysterious flute has fallen into his school bag. By playing the flute, he discovers that he can hypnotise people, but at the same time awakens the spirit man from 143 years of hibernation. Together with Siff, Felix must now try to stop the Demon Man, who is heading to town to retrieve his flute and 143 of the town's citizens - one for every year he hasn't eaten a victim.—Kim
