The Lotus Order, embracing both Light and Dark sides of the Force, faces the Galactic Empire's oppression after the fall of the Republic.

The Lotus is an ancient Order of Force sensitives that was founded a thousand years before the Clone Wars by Lady Valeria. The Lotus Alliance believe that the true balance of the Force is to study and embrace both the Light and the Dark sides of the Force. This movie tells about how the Lotus Order and it's Alliance is being torn apart by the Galactic Empire a few months after the events of Revenge of the Sith. The Galaxy has fallen into a great darkness. Through the usurping of the old Republic, the evil Galactic Empire has gained control over countless worlds, eliminating any hope for democracy. The Jedi Order, Paragons of Justice in the old Republic, has been destroyed. With only a handful of surviving Jedi Knights hiding in distant regions of the galaxy to avoid imperial extermination. While the Empire fights the last pockets of resistance, three scout fighters return to Nythemo, the capital of the Lotus Alliance, with information that could tip the balance in their favour.—Tarik Hatipoglu
