The Barlay Circus is a touring company and travels from town to town. One day a man jumps onto one of the wagons and hides there. It is Fernand, an aging juggler, who has escaped from prison. Fernand seeks refuge with his ex-wife Flora, who works at the company as a wild animal trainer.—Filmportal
