A procedural thriller about a cop who investigates a series of brutal ritualistic killings. Each murder is a reenactment of a tarot card, each pointing at a grander scheme at work. Our heroine has been told the prime suspect is her long time police partner. She however is not so sure. Her boyfriend also appears to have motive and opportunity. All the while she gets drawn more and more into the world of the tarot. The future is set, choice is just an illusion. The cards have spoken and they all lead one way. Which partner is the killer? How does one stop the inevitable?
