I do not know how any of this is going to be resolved.....Maybe it is time for some type of oversight or maybe there is no answer to this new guardianship problem. In the 1900 it was simple but now there are all sorts of things to consider or not consider. When the system gets involved it is hard to stop the train coming. There are no easy answered and sometimes no ine pays attention to the best interests of the party involved . Hue do you take a person who has been Fred to do what they want and set control without a care in the wind about the persons lifestyle or comfort. what about tax consequences for the decisions of third parties. How does one deside what to do when too many people have a special interest that may not be the same interest of the person involved. How does the decision of what to do and who to do if us made. Who makes those decisions and why? How much money is the court appointed GAL and lawyer going to charge and does anyone have a choice? How is reform going to come when some set up "blind trusts" that only the trustee has knowledge and control of
