A mysterious crystal takes the form of a tin man mask and takes over the mind of a timid college professor.

Two miners find a mysterious crystal and are soon after killed in a seemingly accidental explosion. Over 100 years later the same crystal is found again by a college professor. Soon the crystal shows it's true power and takes of the mind of the professor through a tin man mask. The town is then suddenly besieged by a strange rash of murders.
