Two families in rural Essex County, ON are tied together by marriage. There are many catalysts that make a handful of those family members examine their futures, those catalysts including: a death and a unilateral decision stemming from such, school bullying, the discovery of who was assumed to be a long missing "loved one", the discovery of an extramarital affair upon becoming an empty-nester, and the reconciliation of one's past in light of a decline into dementia.—Huggo
