A policeman's life crumbles after his only child succumbs to leukemia. He begins an affair with the daughter of a banker who he saved from a bank robbery.

ASP Zamri is a successful senior police officer, but failed to raise a happy family. The death of his son due to leukemia, ruined his life. His acquaintance with Marina, the daughter of Mr. Cheong, a manager of Malayan Banking Berhad (now Maybank) instilled camaraderie. Everything started when ASP Zamri freed Mr. Cheong from being held captive by a group of gang members who robbed his bank and held him hostage. Marina actually has a relationship with Albert. Albert has a relationship with Ramon, the leader of a secret society group. Albert actually only used Marina for his criminal purposes when he told Ramon to kidnap Marina. However, Marina was rescued after Albert and Ramon were successfully busted in two separate police raids. Because of sympathy for Zamri who wants a child, Cheong insists Marina marry Zamri. They got married despite opposition from Marina's mother. The marriage was blessed with a son named Jefri, who was then handed over to Faridah, his first wife. Zamri spends a lot of time with Faridah and Jefri. Marina felt a thirst for love.
