Summaries

A chronicle of the lives of a couple and the gradual dissolution of their relationship.

A chronicle of the lives of a couple and the gradual dissolution of their relationship. Told in seven short sequences in which the couple do nothing more than perform the banalities of daily life. Interspersed is documentary footage and media images that suggest their dependence on an oppressive, materialist society is to blame for their unhappiness. Unbeknownst to them, their addiction to television is the cause of alienation between them and religion, politics, science, advertising, consumerism and the media are systems of control and manipulation used to degrade and enslave them.—pr1mal_1
