Multi-media documentary about the sale of Te Kuri a Paoa (Young Nick's Head). The release of this film coincides with the 10th anniversary of the sale of this iconic headland to John Griffin New York hedge fund owner. Entitlement works on many different levels, split up into three segments: 1) travel, our relationship to the ocean, historical order of Maori land sales 2) the fusion of iconic American imagery with the natural beauty of the headland, sound bites from politicians of the sales of state owned assets, quotes from the sale of the headland 3) the power, the mana, the cultural importance of this land to all of New Zealand, and the impact this headland had on the filmmaker.—Anonymous
