Six-part television drama which sets the story of Macbeth in present-day Johannesburg. It tells the story of the rise and fall of Kumkani, a fearless young prodigy in investment banking. When his career is at its peak he meets a haggard, homeless woman who sees his future and predicts that his colleague Senzo will be the father of a line of CEOs running Entabeni. The adaptation draws parallels with contemporary African politics, and the dictatorship and ambition of Robert Mugabe.
