White), who claims to have knowledge of a term paper published via a student who attendedthe same college in 1950; in the paper the former student (Jeffrey Bartell or Bartow?) bridges world eventswith Bible scripture from Genesis to Revelation to expound upon when the world will end. Scott, in anattempt to defeat the intellectuals who belittled his friend Todd, and bolster his fledging faith, irrespective ofMatts decline to assist, schedules a meeting and studies relentlessly to prepare a presentation via theHoly Bible and the 1950's students papers he finds in the library; initially confident, Scott begins to havedoubts. Meanwhile, his buddy Matt is having prophetic dreams about a farmer and a plentiful wheat harvest:at the last Matt must speak at the meeting to apologize for Scotts non-appearance and via the protest ofGOD within that audience, decides against running off and instead blessed and obediently givesa proficient presentation on the subject initially advertised in the flyer for the meeting.
