Twelve-year-old Rolf's grandmother dies. In an abandoned diary, she talks about her life as an immigrant Polish beet to Falster around 1912. The story repeats itself for Rolf as a refugee family from Sri Lanka moves into the ascent where he lives. The girl in the family, Hari, becomes his side -mate in class. A group of students behave racist towards Hari, but she and Rolf find a solution to the discrimination together.—DFI
