Shocked by his daughter's flirtatious behavior at a party in his home, Robert Endicott takes her on a trip to the Canadian Northwest. While fishing, she is unwittingly drawn into the rapids, and Grimshaw, her father's engineer, attempts to rescue her. They both reach safety in an inaccessible basin, where a romance develops before they are rescued.—AFI
