Two retirees(terry and Marlene) set out to make a movie about channeling, running up against two spirits sent to earth by the Anti Channeling Committee to sabotage it. When the sabotage starts, Marlene persuades GOD to appear and stop the sabotage. Terry accidently channels Mozart's nemeses Antonio Salieri who grills him on his singing career until he starts talking about sex in college, bringing the author of the channeling system Shirley MacWhiner onto the channel ('this is a family channel!') Salieri makes advances on Shirley - when she finds out Terry did an impsonation act involving Elvis, she orders the hompphobic Salieri to bring Terry's gay Elvis choreographer onto the channel to do their last rehearsal after Billy Gene's performance at a gay night club. Shirley and Salieri fall in love, so do the two spirits sent to earth to sabotage the movie. GOD, an afro American singer (this month) sings one more song, Terry is hooked off the stage as the chapel starts to shake and - well, let's just say there is a surprise ending.—Anonymous
A zany romantic musical comedy about a retired lawyer who tires to persuade his wife to invest in a low budget movie about Channeling Antonnio Salieri (Amadeus). Spirits fed up with their ex's channeling them send two spirits to earth to sabotage the movie . God appears to Terry's wife after each act of sabotage and finally works out a deal to allow the spirits in the movie to appear. Shirley MacWhiner, the author of the channeling system appears and gets interested in Terry's musical life that he was telling Salieri, particularly in his attempts to move like Elvis with a gay female impersonator choreographer he rehearsed a show with. Shirley takes a reluctant Salieri to the gay nightclub to watch the show and Billie Gene's efforts to teach Terry how to move like Elvis. They fall in love as do the two spirits as Terry is hooked repeatedly off the stage in his white Elvis suit.—Anonymous
