Kong, being a mahout making a living on elephants for 39 years, now sets up a "Phuket Elephant Heaven" in Phuket, Thailand. What makes up his mind to pour all his mights into creating a sanctuary for the old and sick elephants retiring from their hard working life? Born in a family raring elephants, Kong as a child learns all the skills to tame these gigantic animals. In the age of 15, Kong is already a capable and reliable mahout. He and his elephants worked for circus, tree logging, tourist riding, everything that could feed his family. After all sheds of tears and sweats, he comes to realise one thing, he loves these pure and loyal elephants, not as money-making tools, not as assets ready to be sold, but as important members of his family.
