A police officer gets involved in a very peculiar case when he discovers he shares his name with the main suspect.

A call from Carmen del Sauce requests the help of Officer Julián Gianoglio. The Officer, perplexed by this, recognizes the name of the place where he was born, but to which he has never returned and barely remembers. Upon his arrival, he finds a town shocked by the murder of "El Alemán" ("The German"), one of its oldest inhabitants. As the mystery begins to unfold, he discovers that the main suspect has disappeared, and that his name is also Julián Gianoglio.
