While he was working at AMD and INTEL in the United States, Gaede delivered technical information about semiconductor industry to the Soviet Union through the Cuban government. Later on disappointed with communist revolution, Gaede turned himself over to the CIA and the FBI and began working in a counter espionage operation which lead him to unthinkable consequences.—Nico

THE CRAZY CHE tells the amazing story of an Argentine engineer who during the Cold War voluntarily served as a spy for the Cuban secret service, delivering specific information about American technology companies in which he have work, such as AMD and Intel. Years later, he flip-over and went to the CIA engaging in a counter-espionage operation that take him to live unintended consequences. The documentary is narrated in first person through all the life of Guillermo 'Bill' Gaede, whose story today becomes updated because of the recent agreement and spies exchange between Obama and Raul Castro.
