Lebanese Neguib travels to the capital to see his son Alfredo, who does not give him accommodation in the apartment he shares with Cuban Alejandro. Neguib, his wife Sara, their daughters Natalia and Rebeca, and their brother-in-law ''Piloncillo'' move to a slum. Neguib does not want anything to do with Alfredo and he sells clothes. Sara looks for his son and finds his contempt.
