Summaries

Vallina is a small town where all its relation with the outside revolves around the platform, in which only two trains leave the mail and a freight train. After forty years of service, the stationmaster retires. The town prepares a tribute and when the party is in full swing, the Talgo appears. To the surprise of all, the chief unfolds the red flag and stops the train that the neighbors have always seen as a meteor. But that action will not be well seen by the leadership of Renfe and the stationmaster is sanctioned. The people's response is immediate and popular mobilization is not long in coming.—jsanchez
