The story portrays the lives of two orphan girls, Isha and Ira who do not give up despite facing many hardships in life. Their mother died, their father abandoned them, and they are left to fend for themselves. Their father has to give them up because he is marrying someone else. They are sent to live in an orphanage with Devki and her brother Bhola.
