A group of GDR holidaymakers on an excursion to a lonely, romantic island during their holidays on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast suddenly find themselves confronted with the death of one of their travelling companions. Is it murder, accident or suicide? All members of the group are confronted with this question and begin to reveal their characters in this escalating situation.
