Einai Sasa's Winged sees the story of a young nonhuman child with wings named Rahn and his journey and evolution throughout the film. Both of Rahn's parents are seemingly killed by a mysterious masked man who then takes all of their wings, including Rahn's. Feeling hopeless, Rahn decides to wander off into the streets, eventually finding a gas station where he meets Steven, who can apparently help him and take him to the hospital. Steven calls for someone, Ronard, who is able to pick Rahn up and take him to the hospital. When nightfall occurs, Ronard instead takes Rahn to an abandoned cabin in the middle of the woods. After wandering and looking deeper, Rahn finds out that Ronard was the one who seemingly killed his parents, and that it was he who definitely cut his wings. Ronard catches Rahn in the middle of his discovery and tries to go after him but misses, causing Rahn to take off into the wilderness. After much running, Rahn ends up tripping on the ground and sees an unknown dark winged figure across the other side of the river. Ronard catches up to Rahn eventually, with Steven by his side, and they have a gun to shoot him. Steven ends up shooting Rahn in the leg, but Ronard discovers that it is not enough to kill him, so Ronard himself tries, but is stopped by the unknown black winged figure.
Rahn wakes up in a mysterious land filled with wonder and enchantment wrapped with bandages on a bed made of ice. After traveling through a tunnel, Rahn walks fully into the enchanted realm and eventually meets someone named Reneh, who ends up telling Rahn that he is in Redundoiah, a realm from the story his mother told him when he was younger.
