Two sailors go on shore leave, get mixed up with gangsters and buried treasure.

While on furlough, U. S. Navy sailors "Breezy" Duke and his pal, "Cookie" are offered the use of the Duke suite, belonging to a wealthy candy magnate, at an expensive hotel because of Breezy's last name. The offer was tendered when "Breezy" hinted he was the son of Mr. Duke. Thinking "Breezy" is rich, a jovial old swindler, "General" Courtney, who has planted a phony treasure on a desert island, offers to locate it for them if they finance the expedition. Courtney has enlisted the aid of a flashy blonde, Maureen, to further entice "Breezy's" interest. The two sailors talk their buddies into putting up their money also. They actually find a real buried treasure on the island which causes many complications to arise.—Les Adams <[email protected]>
