A safari sets out to find a meteorite that fell in the African jungle.

United States intelligence officer Captain Kirk Armstrong (Don Terry) is sent to Africa to go on a safari, led by Congo Jack (Stuart Erwin), to a spot containing a rare material of value to the Allied war effort. Other participants include Ann Montgomery (Ona Munson), a missionary doctor, Enid Waldron (Peggy Moran), searching for her lost father, aided by Coutlass (Richard Lane), They encounter a head-on clash between two warring native tribes and a stock-footage fight-to-the-finish between a python and a water buffalo.
